To Protect And Serve...

"The tacit assumption here is that police are entitled to kill anyone at any time who displays anything other than immediate, complete, unconditional submission. This is why every encounter between police and citizens is freighted with the potential for lethal violence — and why those who travel by automobile are helots on wheels."

William Grigg

Down With The CIA

"There's been a coup, have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything, they run the military. They're the ones who are over there lobbing missiles and bombs on countries. ... And of course the CIA is every bit as secretive as the Federal Reserve. ... And yet think of the harm they have done since they were established [after] World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They're in businesses, in drug businesses, they take out dictators ... We need to take out the CIA."

And The Winner So Far Is...

These are the top 15 songs of my audioscrobbling era. Notice the wider range of diversity compared to my top 15 bands during the same time period. Only two of those bands have songs on my most played song list,....... Black Sabbath and Cirith Ungol.

Weird...

The Govern Thyself Top 15 Bands

These are the 15 most played bands since I discovered the wonders of the Last FM audioscrobbler. Effortlessly create a journal or diary of the bands that provide that sonic soundtrack as you plot to make the world more free...unless your music sucks enough for you to keep it a secret. :^)

Campaign For Liberty In Atlanta

Next weekend (Jan. 15 - 17), I will be attending the Campaign For Liberty Regional Conference in Atlanta. Mike Helms, libertarian Democrat challenger to Congressman Mel Watt in the 12th District, will be accompanying me to the conference. We both look forward to a weekend of campaign training and fellowship with some of the leading lights in the liberty movement.

It's not to late to sign up. Registration for the conference is a incredibly low $65. Ron Paul will be there. I am really looking forward to the Economic Liberty Forum with Lew Rockwell, Thomas Woods and Thomas DiLorenzo. That alone is worth the price of the entire weekend.

Hope to see you there...

Sorry Kitty! Bailouts are for Wall Street fat cats. Here, have some government cheese.

Most Played Bands The Past 12 Months

If you will allow me a short break from politics, here is my most played list from the past 12 months...

A soundtrack for my on-line political activism. Monkey wrenching is more fun with rock & roll...
